I am feeling wonderfully happy and blessed!  It is Christmas, time for family, friends, gratitude, forgiveness and love!

I will spend Christmas alone again, but my heart is so full of gratitude that I feel encircled by love and warmth on this cold rainy evening.  Alone is just a fact and not a feeling! Everywhere I look I see a thank you!

I have so much to be thankful for this year.  My family members are all well and happy!  I don’t need to be next to them to be with them, they are engraved in my heart!  My father is still going strong after winning yet another tough health battle.  We now joke that he has nine lives. Blending the Senses With Art and Music

Hello Citizens of the Blogosphere!

Today’s post is part one of a two part series. In this series, I will detail an experiment in which I attempt to incorporate two senses using two art forms.

My inspiration for this experiment can be traced a few years back, when I took my first (and only) art class. In it, I explored various techniques for creating three dimensional art. One of my favorite projects entailed creating a piece of art inspired by a piece of music.

Given that I really enjoyed the project way back when, I thought it would be fun to try it again. This time, on my own terms.
